What counts as a revision?
A revision is an adjustment to work already included in your written scope, within the agreed pages, features, and design direction. Examples include changing supplied wording, swapping a supplied image, adjusting colours or spacing, or refining an existing section’s layout.
One revision round means one consolidated list of feedback on the current draft, followed by an updated version. It can include several in-scope adjustments; each individual edit does not count as a separate round. Please combine feedback from everyone approving the project before sending it.
Landing Page includes 2 build revision rounds, Starter Website includes 3, and Business Website includes 4. Fixing an error in our work or bringing it into line with the agreed scope does not use a revision round.
What counts as new scope?
New scope is work outside the agreed deliverables. Examples include adding a page not listed in the quote, adding booking, payments, a shop, a database, or an integration not already included, requesting original copywriting, or replacing the agreed design with a substantially different concept.
Using up your revision rounds does not automatically make an in-scope edit “new scope”, but additional rounds are extra work and may carry an agreed fee. Build revision rounds apply during the build, before final approval; updates requested after launch are handled under a care plan or separate quote.
Before any extra work begins, we explain what is included, any additional fee, and the effect on the timeline. We proceed only after your written approval. Your signed quote and client agreement confirm the project’s scope.
